Calling all runners! Tie up your shoes or slip on your minimalist footwear. The Friends of Blackhand Gorge have organized a brand new trail race at the beautiful Blackhand Gorge State Nature Preserve. The race is being organized in an effort to raise money for our cause. Choose from a 5K, 10K, or 20K.

This is guaranteed to be one of the most challenging trail races in Central Ohio. The 10K and 20K courses will be featuring one of Blackhand Gorge's most difficult trails on the south side of the Licking River. Consider this your warning!

If your interested in running this one of a kind event, then you must act fast. The Blackhand Gorge Trail Series will be taking place next Saturday! This race will be a great way to break in the 2012 fall race season. Mail in your race entry before August 20th or sign up on race day!

Registration: Saturday, August 25th @ 8AM! -- Rain or shine.

This race couldn't be possible without help from sponsors:

5K Walkers Are Welcome! - The 5K distance is open to hikers and walkers of all ages.
